with Heather Noonan, LMT Sept 30th 9am-5pm
- 240 US dollars$240
- Northeast Vancouver Mall Loop
This course is a practical and progressive hands-on approach to manually affecting the Vagus nerve. Massage for the Vagus Nerve can improve immunity, heart health, and digestion. During the 6.5-hour one-day class, we will increase massage therapists' awareness about the effectiveness of working the neck and pecs that directly affect the Vagus Nerve. All 4 seasons can bring on sickness, and often people come to massage therapists to ease the discomfort and pain their bodies experience at the setback of illness. Similarly, people from less mobile to hard-core athletes, come in to balance their heart health while many more, because of the increase in GMOs, pesticides, and poor diet, come to us with regular digestion issues. This class introduces a hands-on approach that effectively, and scientifically addresses all 3 issues, immunity, heart health, and digestion, through manual manipulation. As a well-rounded course, this 6.5-hour hands-on class is a safe environment where practitioners can detail 2 site-specific areas to benefit those who suffer from basic Vagus Nerve disorders. Together we will practice on each other, learning what the Vagus Nerve is, its location, what it affects physiologically, and a few easy techniques on muscles that have an effect on the largest of the 12 cranial nerves. Heather Noonan has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2004 and has 1st hand experience with seeing the positive effects of using manual Vagus Nerve Stimulation. Class Cost: $240 Date: Sept 30th, 2023 Time: 9am-5pm CE Credits: 8
